Ubud Food Festival is Southeast Asia’s most exciting new culinary event showcasing Indonesia’s diverse cuisine, innovative chefs and extraordinary local produce. In 2016, the Ubud Food Festival will focus on the theme of ‘Go Local’. Alongside Indonesian chefs, restaurateurs, producers and food professionals, celebrated culinary icons from around the world will dish up a program rich in fresh produce, fresh tastes, and fresh ideas.From coffee to chili, peanuts to papaya, tofu to turmeric, local produce will be the star in a program spanning live cooking demonstrations, special events, workshops, foodie tours, markets, live music, film screenings and much, much more. The Ubud Food Festival will explore Indonesian food in all its forms: a journey across one of the most diverse culinary landscapes in the world. Bali Arts Festivals

Bali Arts Festival as the annual celebration of arts and culture in Bali will be held from the 11th of June until the 9th of July 2016 at Denpasar Arts Centre (Taman Werdhi Budaya), Jalan Nusa Indah, Denpasar. The annual celebration features various artworks and cultural achievements performances from 10 am until 10 pm, and this time the festival carries a theme "Karang Awak or Cherishing the Home Island". As usual for the opening parade of The Bali Arts Festival 2016 will take start point from the front of the Bajra Sandhi monument in Denpasar. Ubud Writers and Readers Festivals

Held annually in Ubud, Bali’s artistic and cultural heartland, the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival has become Southeast Asia’s largest and most renowned cultural and literary event. The mission of Ubud Writers & Readers Festival is to create a world class festival that celebrates extraordinary stories and amplifies brave voices, tackles global issues and big ideas. We are proud of our continuing success in bringing Indonesian and international writers together on a world stage and creating a space for conversation and connection across cultural divides. The 13th UWRF will be held 26 – 30 October, 2016, celebrating the theme Tvat Tvam Asi or ‘I am you, you are me’. This powerful ideology is crucial to the collective identity of Indonesia – uniting people from incredibly diverse religious, ethnic, cultural and historical backgrounds to share common respect and understanding. The Ubud Writers & Readers Festival is the major annual project of the not-for-profit foundation, the Yayasan Mudra Swari Saraswati. It was first conceived of by Janet DeNeefe, co-founder of the Foundation, as a healing project in response to the first Bali bombing.
